Step 1 — Visit Portal

Go to: afd.csdindia.gov.in

Use username & password created.

6) Step-by-Step Purchase Process (Serving & Veterans)

Step 1 — Select Product

Choose brand → choose variant → check CSD availability.

Step 2 — Upload Documents

• ID proof
• Address proof
• Service/ESM card
• PPO/service details

Step 3 — Choose Dealer

Select your city → choose dealer → verify availability.

Step 4 — Payment

Two options:

1. Self-payment (full amount online)
2. Bank loan (partial + loan remaining)

Important:

Payment must be done only through AFD portal.

Step 5 — Order Confirmation

Download Local Supply Order (LSO) / Supply Order.

Step 6 — Dealer Delivery

Hand over LSO → Pay RTO & accessories → Take delivery.

7) Bank Loan Rules for CSD Car Purchase

• Loan can be taken from any bank
• Loan amount is based on CSD price, not market price
• EMI must be paid directly to bank
• Bank will issue disbursement letter for AFD portal

8) MRO/MCO Issuance (2025)

MRO (Money Receipt Order)

Issued by the CSD after payment confirmation.

MCO (Move Control Order)

Required for many states for vehicle movement & RTO.
