SPARSH – Sparsh Defence Pension is an integrated system for automating the sanction and disbursement of defence pensions. The Ministry of Defense began using SPARSH in July 2021. This web-based & app based solution manages pension claims and transfers pension payments into the bank accounts of defence retirees without the need for a third-party middleman. Pensioners can check information about their pensions, access services, and make complaints to resolve issues with their pension problems using the Pensioner Portal. Since it was implemented in July 2021, SPARSH’s mission has been to offer armed services personnel a stable and secure digital platform for all pension-related tasks. The whole history of the pensioner’s events and entitlements from the beginning of the pension to the date of the stoppage of the pension will be provided with complete transparency and specifics with the aid of this portal or app called SPARSH.
