OROP Overview: OROP 3rd Instalment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;OROP, or &#8216;One Rank One Pension,&#8217; is a scheme aimed at providing our retired soldiers and their families with increased military pensions.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_OROP_Installments_OROP_3rd_Instalment\"><\/span>2. OROP Installments: OROP 3rd Instalment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Under OROP, eligible pensioners are set to receive the specified amount in 4 installments. The first two installments were disbursed in April and August 2023, and now, the third installment is scheduled for payment before November 30, 2023.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Benefits_of_OROP_OROP_3rd_Instalment\"><\/span>3. Benefits of OROP: OROP 3rd Instalment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;As per the announcement by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, all eligible armed forces pensioners will receive their OROP arrears and pensions regularly, regardless of whether their pension has migrated to SPARSH or not.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Why_Some_Missed_OROP_Benefits_OROP_3rd_Instalment\"><\/span>4. Why Some Missed OROP Benefits: OROP 3rd Instalment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Despite the OROP scheme, many Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and jawans haven&#8217;t received the benefits. As per the Supreme Court&#8217;s order, the arrears for the period from 01.07.2019 to 31.12.2023 will be paid in 4 installments.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Revised_OROP_Schedule\"><\/span>5. Revised OROP Schedule: <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The revised schedule indicates that the third installment is set to be paid by November 30, 2023, and the fourth installment by February 28, 2024.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Diwali_Gift_of_Joy_OROP_3rd_Instalment\"><\/span>6. Diwali Gift of Joy: OROP 3rd Instalment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Today, on November 10, 2023, a significant number of beneficiaries have received the third installment of OROP arrears. The amount remains the same as the last installment. If you&#8217;ve received it, celebrate Diwali with the grace of Goddess Mahalakshmi.
